What do you equip Firion if need be?

Of course I have Double Trouble. I just didn't think I had to mention it.



I don't really spend much time in the air. If the enemy is at a distance, S&L and Concentration kick in, so the enemy will come to me after all.

You have to mention it. DoubleTrouble can/cannot be equipped in Reel Axe, which you prefer?
I think Concentration is not needed. Firion is a nice aggressor, so if you stop attacking/moving you might be get punished. You are just wasting precious CP. Also, Straightarrow(aerial) is quite good combined with Fire.

i agree with above, Firion with straight arrow and fire in the air can be great for pressure (at least in my experience) you can also get the shield bash specal when they block fire towards you

I prefer it equipped on Reel Axe, because sometimes I don't have the space to Dodge backwards to use Rope Knife. Or a single Double Trouble can end the match then and I don't want to take unneccesary risks.

I think Concentration is pretty nifty. I don't play like an aggressor, so I can stand there and gain Bravery and eventually my opponent does something that warrants a Shield Bash or Reel Axe.

And I did discover that Straightarrow (air) can be a nuisance to my opponent if I have a few Fires out.

no doubt the other three ground attacks are more superior. but does anyone actually uses swordslash(ground)?

I usually give Firion a lot of ex building accessories. I also give him equipment that give him either Wisdom of Lufina or Soul of Yamato. I like the extra effects those equipment give him, helps out a lot in matches.
