The 3rd Birthday -Parasite Eve Feats, What they are and why you should care

The info regarding the shower scene is actually incorrect. The level of damage your armor is at has nothing to do with whether you'll see the shower scene or not.

During the story missions, there are certain feats that must be completed for the shower scene to be initiated once you're back at the base. The shower scene can be seen 4 times in one playthrough, if you so wish.

To quote seige924 over at gamefaqs:

Episode 1:
Easy: Kill the Slackers. Normal: Shoot all the Wads (so wish they could have come up with a better enemy) Hard: Bring Civilians to Safety. Deadly: Swiftly retreat from the first Reaper. Insane: No damage from any Reapers.

Episode 2:
Easy: Kill all the smoke bugs. Normal: Kill the Rover before Gabrielle. Hard: Kill the thing in the Babel quickly. Deadly: Breach the orb nest quickly. Insane: Don't Overdrive too much.

Episode 3:
Easy: Recover the supplies. Normal: Don't trip those roving detectors. Hard: Don't let any soldiers get killed by Snatchers. Deadly: Destroy every orb. Insane: Destroy every Snatcher in the first part.

Ep. 4:
Easy: Kill those two worms after you get the heli. Normal: Kill twenty of those things on the building with the heli. Hard: Breach the tower quickly. Deadly: Protect all the tanks. Insane: Save all the reinforcements.

Once you do one of these feats on the required difficulty, go into the shower room and push X. If you accomplished the feat correctly, she will say "..." and the screen will go black followed by the scene. If not, she will mention that she failed to complete the certain feat (i.e. Aya: "I didn't kill all those slackers").

I've only just played this game and I'm now on Deadly difficulty. I know this topic is pretty much dead already, but I hope someone could still help me. Mainly with the requirements for getting all the guns and upgrades. Are there a special requirements for certain guns like, say, Gabrielle's sniper rifle requiring you to beat the chapter 2 (hard mode) Rover before she arrives?

Oh, and in chapter 4, how do I keep those soldiers from dying against the worms while waiting for the chopper to arrive? They either die or get eaten before that happens. =<

Also, I really hate Wads. The big enemies are already quite a handful without them. >_<

I mean the more you use a certain type of weapon , the more powerful weapons are available to buy . And a good thing to do is doing some challenges to get some of the special weapons. That will help you big time because some of these monsters tale a big chunk of HP in deadly mode which I am also on and still trying to beat. I'm level 70 and just trying to level up my Cells to get them to level 20 and up

To unlock most weapons just play through the game on all difficulties and dive into people with the "new weapon" icon. For weapons like Gabrielle's sniper and a bunch of parts you have to complete certain feats. You can get Gabrielle's sniper by killing the Rover in chapter 2 before she shows up on Insane difficulty. It took me several tries to get it, it takes a good deal of patience to aim right and not miss shots.

I don't mind this thread being called up, I loved this game and this series is one of my top 5 favorite game series.

^Ahh, you're right. Thanks for the correction. I don't have Gabrielle's sniper rifle yet. Though you get some nice anti-twisted bullets for one of your rifles for doing it on hard mode.

I think I'm being too dependent on the machine guns for killing stuff. As a result, some of my weapons are a bit underleveled. =<
