Who was the better voice actor for Squall? David Boreanaz or Doug Erholtz?

So, out of both of the English voice actors for Squall that we've had, which one do you think is superior? David Boreanaz (KH1) or Doug Erholtz (Everything else)

I prefer David Boreanaz. Doug is good too, but during story mode in Dissidia he was incredibly bland. Doug also sounds much older than the age of FFVIII Squall, which works for the 25 year old Leon of KH2, but not so much for the FFVIII/Dissidia version. David's on the other hand could easily be a seventeen year old's voice IMO.

Gonna have to say Doug Erholtz, I don't think David's suits him that much. I used to back when i was like 12, But alot of things i used to watch as a kid sound weird dubbed now, Cept for a few. Like Digimon/Pokemon

I know it's not an explanation, Which you're probly looking for he just sounds better to me now.

The second dude by a mile. The deeper voice is a much better match for Squall's personality.

I have no idea why some people keep insisting it doesn't match 17 year old Squall as well as it dose 20-something Squall. Testicles tend to drop long before age 17. At 17, Squall's voice should be just as deep as it would be in his 20's.

Although the best Squall voice actor is the Japanese one i have voted Doug Erholtz: don't misunderstnd me, for me is depressing like Steve Burton for Cloud. But David Boreanaz's voice is... i don't know, more depressing. So basically, Doug to me has a more stronger voice that fit much better with Squall.

How is this happening? Usually every time one of these threads pops up anywhere else, David Boreanaz wins by a landslide. Wierd.

David sounds good as Squall but I prefer Doug's voice over him because He sounds much cooler as Squall XD

David Boreanaz for me. I admit Doug sounds a lot more cooler and manlier, but having Squall sound more like a teen appeals to me.

As much as I love David Boreanaz, he didn't really sound to good, more like he was reading a script. That's just me tho.

I prefer Doug's voice. The deeper voice suits Squall more in my opinion. It just sounds stronger and seems to fit his personality more.
Some people say it's too deep, but I don't really think so. I'm 16 and my voice is just as deep, lol.

I still prefer David Boreanaz, mostly because I loved him as Angel
