DFF isn't to DDFF what Melee is to Brawl; everyone would've been back at it ever since May otherwise. It really isn't that simple, guys.

it really makes me chuckle how you bring up my matches with this kid when its insignificant towards the fact that you're still mediocre in every way possible. i havent played enough matches with him to form a valid conclusion of whether or not he's "good," but whether he is or not makes no difference to me. i remember how ehx did tell me he struggled against his ulti back in the day (ultimecia is a piece of shit anyways), so maybe he is or maybe he isnt, but the fact of the matter is that he's one of the new players that sinks a lot of time into this terrible game (i think i saw 1600+ hours on his previous save the first time i played him? jesus fucking christ) and hasnt placed well in a tournament yet.

i've told you several times that im nowhere near any form of decent anymore because i dont put enough time into this game, period. when i played you a couple days ago, i hadnt touched the game in over a month beforehand; almost two months, actually. nobody in my group plays dissidia anymore (dave, aveot, ehx, and yunoa all quit... so did every other DFF veteran), either, and i cant play any games with good players and, naturally, skill has declined from forming bad habits by playing bad players. nobody has consistently forced me to think about my plays in a long time. the only respectable player that i consider an equal i've played has been hollowed and he doesnt play the game anymore, either.

you should probably sit down and learn your place, because beating scrubs like TKG in ladders doesnt prove a single thing and it never will. you'll never earn the chance to prove yourself as a "good" dissidia player even by placing high in the next major because this game has dropped so low and is so lacking in depth that shit will never be the same as DFF. the point still stands that duodecim has a lower skill cap than DFF, and you'd get absolutely trounced in DFF.

If you go on a dissidia break for months at a time and suck every time you come back, you can't call every player bad or say every player sucks, because you're starting to suck. You keep talking about dff competitively yet as everyone likes to point out dff and ddff are two different games. If you're referring to skill, games like tekken and street fighter take much more time and skill than dff. You insult ultima's tournament ranking, yet aveot placed second in only one tournament and everyone considered him the best seph when he still played. You all had your moment of glory in dff and you were good back then, that doesn't mean everyone who plays ddff now sucks. What's wrong with ultima sinking time into a game he likes playing and getting better? Isn't that what everyone does in every game? I'm personally glad all off you are leaving, you all bash the game to death and say its terrible yet you sit on a forum for strategies and tournaments for the game. If the game sucks that much to you stop playing and find another like ehx did.

i never "insulted" his tournament ranking (what the fuck is a tournament ranking? we dont even have a "tournament ranking). i was pointing out the fact that he's an unknown player because he hasnt placed in a tournament.

everybody considered him the best sephiroth because he was. it doesnt matter if he only got top 3 in ONE tournament; he placed top 8 in every other tourney easily and people could see that he knew what he was doing. ultima hasn't joined a single major tournament yet. your analogy sucks balls.

im completely aware of the fact that im not good at dissidia anymore, and that's okay. that doesnt change my opinion of anybody and i can still physically see if someone is good or not.

You're to lazy to make a valid arguement so you call everything I say stupid, brilliant axel. Ultima hasn't joined a single major since we haven't really had one, besides a few customs, which were either european or east coast. So if you know you're bad how can you sit there and insult everyone? Not like all of us are calling you mediocre and telling you you're shit any chance we get.

and nobody can sit here and call me terrible because i'd still wreck you despite being rusty as balls. it doesnt matter if theres only been one major; the fact that he hasnt placed highly in a single major means he's not a known player, which was my original point in the first place. it also means he hasnt proven his real skill in a competitive environment.

You mean like you wrecked ultima? You didn't even address every point, so you didn't shut them all down. You just called the ones you were to lazy to form a rebuttle for stupid. What skill in a competitive enviroment? Who can camp, tier whore, and spam the best? He's pretty well known to most people on ahp, sorry he isn't well known to the people who either don't play anymore or refuse to play anyone new outside their circles.

you're implying that casuals = tournament matches, which already means you should stfu. there's a reason why data from tournaments are so highly valued, but i never expected you to use your brain in the first place.

being known to people on adhoc party and being known to the entire community by having your name high on the scoreboard are two completely different things. you have absolutely no clue what you're talking about and i dont think you ever will.

i doubt anybody can take ladders as an actual tournament environment with ten people signing up for each one.

i completely forgot about my grand finals with aveot the first test tournament. that's true.

Funny thing; I was actually trying to get a code working that sped OAD up but couldn't get something to work with cwcheat.

As for OAD+ - the only problem I see is if your turning control doesn't react any faster. Even then, it gives reasons to learn OAD+ for some match ups, FAD for some, and OAD for others. So while I'd like to see them all sped up, I think speeding OAD up more makes more sense to keep a a balance between choosing which dash to use. FAD tracks and can build assist, OAD+ can change directions, and OAD .... is... cheaper... than OAD+? XD
