Well, while it is an infinite, it's only possible if the enemy doesn't have Auto Recovery on. That pretty much never happens except for accidents like this. Why cooldude0009 didn't have it on in the first place or unequipped it at all is now the thing that I'm wondering about.

I was just addressing the point that Narolf thought that people thought it wasn't a real infinite---it is, just when the other player doesn't have Aerial Recovery equipped.

Took the bait, lol. I categorized that as an infinite in all tournaments' rulesets ever since the Kai one -- which never happened.

you're seriously wondering why people prefer recovery attack + aerial recovery over auto recovery? i dont even know what to say to that; recovery attack is one of the most useful skills in the game.

I'm aware that Aerial Recovery and Recovery Attack is the superior combination. However, for that infinite to actually happen to him, it would require him to not have either Auto Recovery OR Aerial Recovery equipped in the first place. That's what I'm wondering about; I can't imagine why he wouldn't use either ability. I'm hoping it was just a customization error on his end.
