The timing for it has gotten harder sicne the JP version. What your supposed to do it delay the part of Rise Wave where it pushes them into the wave then do Glare Hand ASAP. It doesn't seem to always work in the English version but worked 100% in the JP version (I had my doubts for a while but then tried it out myself and was surprised). I actually got pretty lucky and pulled it off in the video lol

While playing AHP with Xeltos earlier, I discovered that the Glare Hand -> FDC -> Float System -> DC -> Gravity System leaves enough time for Ultimecia to either block or dodge away between the double systems. Maybe a Return DC or TDC is needed against Ultimecia for this combo to be effective.

While playing AHP with Xeltos earlier, I discovered that the Glare Hand -> FDC -> Float System -> DC -> Gravity System leaves enough time for Ultimecia to either block or dodge away between the double systems. Maybe a Return DC or TDC is needed against Ultimecia for this combo to be effective.

I think you do need a TDC for it to work. Try mashing circle as fast as you can too xD

I already mash circle... >_>; Haha, I'm going to have to start learning TDC and RDC properly, since right now I need all the hits I can get on Xeltos' Ultimecia. He thrashed me, haha.

Any tips for vs. Ultimecia, by any chance?

Avoid it o_o She can just snipe you down if you want, and with almost no recovery time on her BP attacks its gonna be hard. If he stays near the ground then Glare Hand/ Ambush system him down

I'll keep practicing on his ghost, then, see if I can find anything or sweet spots to punish with Glare hand or Rise Wave.

It's pretty much impossible for Golbez to fightmsot mages sicne they can snipe you down sicne Golbez has a HUGE blind spot (above him) and you really don't want to use Golbez in the air for very long =\
