Should we start off simple with just Open rules or should we go straight to Plus, Close, Same, Wall, etc.?

I think you should wait until we actually get more card packs, if that even gets around to happening. We've been stuck with these basic packs since the system was introduced nearly two months ago. I figure Mass is busy and all, but if you hold the tournament right now, you won't see much variety.

I'd participate if one was ever hosted. It seems like something that might be nice, lighthearted fun, and doesn't seem like it would take much time to organize.

I would much prefer there to not be a prize, seeing how it would easily be plausible to host such a tournament once a week, and it would be nearly meaningless to give out prizes for such events.
