Well it is smart to use razor gale when the opponent is at a distant, I'm not gonna use lighting strike when my opponent is a map away, but if they do rush in I'd use lightning strike rather than RG

By your logic though, Firion should have decent matchups against Zidane, Exdeath, and Kuja.

Yeah, and if Firion is going into the air......then he's using...Straightarrow? Thunder? wtf? Also, if Lightning is in Commando, she won't be trying to fight a whole lot in the air, much less throw out attacks instead of punish.

Firion's air game is terribly underrated. It's simply not made for short range combat, much like Kefka's or Ultimecia's. Thunder in itself shuts out many characters attempts to play ranged against Firion. You shouldn't try to play high in the air, at any rate. Stay low to the ground and use it only when necessary. Why the hell was this brought up in the first place?

As for the subject on hand, Ravager > Commando in most situations. The only real advantages Commando has is a superior ground game (Thundaga is still good in certain matchups though), Smite, and the innate +1 to attack for EX Bursts/assist combos that end in Thunderfall.

And why is Lightning going into the air as a Commando? Same reason as Firion.

As for Garuga's statement, I brought it up since TKG basically said that Lightning will not be able to do anything in the air as Commando.
