Enjoying something doesn't mean it wasn't a waste of time. I thought that was obvious, so I felt no need to add it in my post.

Literally everything "wastes" time. However...

Everyone who lost in this tournament/didn't place 3rd place or above (or win the assist challenge) gets absolutely nothing

So, experience in the end is worth nothing? Having fun (if you managed to do so, good for you) was worth nothing? The memories (in the case of EVA and Spyder, this is a "win or go home" situation) are worth nothing? I think you might need to reevaluate what people actually get out of the tournament. There's more than just winning and losing.

If you think that anything except winning was a waste of time, then you must've been rather confident that you were going to win, right? You weren't forced to sign up for the tournament, so if you want to complain about it being a waste of time, you can blame yourself for not winning since that seems to be your argument. I can't claim to speak for all the other competitors, but I would think they are going to at least take something away from this other than a salty attitude and mindless trolling at the end of the day.

I really want to avoid going out of my way to insult you because it's not necessary. If you want to beat up on yourself, feel free to do so. Just take it elsewhere. The negative attitude isn't really appreciated.

I never said I didn't waste my own time whereas I could have done other more productive things, I merely made a comment saying that winning is all that matters and those who place get nothing in the end.

To be honest, I wasn't really expecting my original comment that led up to this to be replied to. I'm not intending to criticize anyone, or have a negative attitude. I am not salty about losing the tournament or anything of the sort.

It seems you guys think that I think that the things I am saying wouldn't apply to me, when I am well aware that they would.
