Any1 Else Play?

This game was one of my favorites on the GBA. I'd love to discuss the game if anyone else here has played?!

well I don't play... because I used to, because it used to be EPIC!!
still is for a nostalgic game :3
but other than that, i doubt this discussion will go far.

Unless players still have the game. I played it and have to way I loved it more than I should since I hated tactical fighting games like that back them but it was FF so I had no choice gave it a shot

I still have the game and I played it a lot. It was a sweet game, a lot better than A2, imo. Shame I never got Cid to join my team. :<

Oh, I loved it! it was the first tactics game i played, haven't played A2 to compare and i don't think i will ever. But Advance was simply wonderful. I got Cid, he rocked, although these story characters weren't that good. (well Cid had some special "judge" commands so he was something different). The best were those "special" characters that would ask to join once in a while, i had them all; eldena, litlevilli etc. ^^

I always thought this game had a great premise. It was the usual "kids transported to the mystical world" but instead of most of them wanting to find a way home while only one wants to stay, Marche was the only one who wanted to leave, while everyone else was perfectly fine with the change of scenery.

It was even better when...

your brother Donned even rats you out to bounty hunters so he can stay in Ivalice, where he has the ability to walk again.

A pretty great, and oft-times serious story, despite all the lightheartedness in the music and artwork >.<

The only thing I didn't like was the change from racial jobs, and not being able to name my recruits :/

I'm really surprised that so many others did play. I still own the game, but after... lemme check... 327 hours of gameplay it began to get a little repetitive.
Nonetheless, I had every special and semi-special character in the game. Cid was a tank, always gave him Excalibur II. Kept Marche as a soldier, but with doublesword of course.
I really wish they could have worked Marche into Dissidia somehow... Maybe if there's a third one he could make it in somehow, even if it is only a minor role like Gabby or Shantotto.
