So my first Fatalis hunt after a long time and he dies with its head inside the wall.

Fatalis retains the health it left the quest at, with a base minimum percentage of health like most Elder Dragons. The health and amount of time to hunt one, however, is considerably greater. In the end, you are still looking at a lengthy fight, and the rewards are more substantial than carves anyway, as most of the Fatalis' valuable items are exclusive to breaking parts.

Speaking of videos, has anyone seen the recent trailer for MH4? It was uploaded on the official Capcom channel on the 30th of last month.

Various concept artworks are also displayed on the official website. It has art of the new area, village, NPCs, armor sets and the new monster.
