Force Symphony vs. (aerial) Ultima

What it says. Which would you prefer? I've been using Force Symphony because I'm really accurate with it. People seem to dodge Ultima easily anyway, unless you block them, they're attacking, etc.

Depends on the match-up, really. I don't think it's smart to stick with only one of them. Kuja is one of those characters in which you'll be changing his attacks around a lot depending on which character your opponent is using.

I use them both. Like chaos said you might need to use one over the other in different situations with different characters but if I HAD to choose I would choose Ultima

I'm unwilling to give up seraphic star or flare star ( too many uses ).

I'd say force symphony is great vs ground or close ranged enemies ( I can't say I've ever wanted to use it vs Ultimecia ). It's also his only hp that cant be EX-revenged mid attack

Ultima can be nice vs long ranged or long cast animations, or ending assist combos.

Agreed. I use both of them exept battle with Exdeath, in which Force symphony is easier to block, I suppose. In all of other match-ups my aerial HPA trio is Ultima, FS and SS.

By the way, Force Symphony is my favorite move in the game :P

If I had to choose one of them, it'll be FS, I like it much better then Ultima

As everyone is saying it all depends on your opponent's choice of character, be it a ground player (FS) or an air character (Ultima) I honestly still am trying to warm up to Ultima, I still feel nervous using it because of how easy it is to evade most of the times. :T

Having a single hitting HP is nice, so FS. Though personally, I use Ultima.

It's better to have both in my opinion. FS is actually more useful than one might think being a 1 hit HP move. One of it's biggest benefits is taking out a full ex bar stopping ex revenge.

Ultima is great for starting combos and punishing dodges (if the timing is right of course) sure due to various situations and character MUs will change WHEN you use them or how much but to have to choose which one to put on isn't nessicary since you should put them both on.

Now if it was something like ultima on the ground between ultima in the air that would sound more argumentative even though the majority of players would probably pick ultima in the air for the obvious reason of him being an air fighter
