The Black Roses

You'd call us fools. Living on the outskirts of society, running from everything. We were given a false lead, sent to some unknown country to track down a traitor. We arrived only to be framed for the death of the country's leader—all part of the plan from our leader. Cast out, we four—remnants of a long lost government organization—grouped together to survive. If we were to ever be captured we'd be killed for our..."crimes."

With the Organization exposed, it was disbanded and our friends were murdered. The four of us vowed to get revenge for the crimes that were committed against us. We set up base in a small arms shop where we would discuss our plans. The customers were scarce and diverse—a perfect hiding place.

For every friend murdered, a single black rose on thine corpse. We will find you. Just you wait.

as fitting as it would be for the group to be the loft, it wasn't a reference to the loft, unless you want me to write a Black rose vs Nexus thing, but it'd completely ruin the context of the team, no one to take revenge on means no reason to be a team :> so it's not actually the loft
