Underrated or Overrated?

title pretty much explains it is FF9 Underrated or overrated?
iv'e liked looked into random people's reviews bout it. some say it's good and that's just good. while some say it's not good and they make pretty good sense why.

imo it's just underrated. so what's ur opinion?

Everyone loves it. Maybe a couple of prolific 12 year old forumites dont, but mostly it's very popular.

Underrated, I don't understand why so little of poepple don't really love this game. The cities where cool, the story was alright (what you expect? it wasnt intedned to be one of the main series up until right before release).
I say its underrated, this game deserves more love (the worst 2 games get the most love .. 7 and 8 SIGH..

Loads of people love IX, it's one of the most popular and probably the most popular outside of fanboys.

Really? Quite a few seasoned gamers I know don't like it and consider it one of the worst of the series. Personally it's my second favorite, and I definitely think it's underrated.
