It's an interesting test, but it's completely academic. That stuff is only going to be in you for upwards of a couple hours, in a completely sterile (pH 0 will do that to you) environment. Showing how it is affected by mold is pretty pointless. It should also be noted that most mold grows inside food, the likelihood is that that stuff was rotten after a couple days, even without any outward signs (plus not all molds are furry and black, and some don't grow large enough to appear macroscopically).
(Also, what the heck is wrong with preservatives? It's not like they murder whales, IN COLD BLOOD, or anything)

Bolded part for truth. It's not as bad as you think it is. Not to say that fast food is good for you. The meat (chicken and beef, at least) come from feed-lots of cattle and chickens fed corn instead of grass because it's cheaper to feed them that way. There's a metric crap ton of corn in everything you get from a McDonalds when you're looking at the typical meal (hamburger or chicken, fries, and a soda), which extends to other fast food restaurants as well. The most important part is that your stomach acids aren't going to let that kind of thing happen to you, so people who refuse to eat the food for THIS specific reason are totally misinformed.Originally Posted by Cookies

In all seriousness, I love McDonald's. I have it probably once every three weeks. But I do eat fast food too often, and drink too much soda. But damn, that's disgusting. Even the mold doesn't want it.
