It's actually theorized that our universe will just keep expanding until forever. There will be a day someday in the far future where the universe will be expanding faster than the speed of light and no one will be able to see anything in the night sky except for maybe the other planets and close stars in our galaxy. Other galaxies will be completely invisible to us.The universe is infinite IMO. Don't quote me on that one.
This is assuming the planet or the human race even exists that long, or if the theory is correct.
