Still not working. Is this like thunder barret to revolver drive where it only works more or less in PVP matches? I pulled it off flawlessly there but on the AI I can't even do this once

Omni ground dash works best in this loop. Also, I said to block first so that you'll be facing the opponent before you dash. Just press R a split second before inputting triangle. People used to have trouble with this back in DFF because instead of dashing in the direction they wanted using OAD, they'd dash TOWARD the opponent instead.
or just try with ground dash, that c0b guy used it in his combo vid

@Orion
For me, FGD tends to make Emperor dash PAST the opponent instead of pushing them.
@lucky
It's probably due to TC's properties that you're having trouble.
First off, TC has a deceptively wider range than it appears when active, has strong absorb, and the last hit can do damage even when the opponent is well outside the crest. This can be counteracted by pushing the opponent by quite a distance from TC. If your timing is good, you don't need to push far, but better safe than sorry, and push until the absorb effect can no longer be felt.
Also, you can't cast another crest BEFORE the first one is near expiry, which, like I mentioned, is around the 8th or 9th damage burst.
So, all in all you should:
-wait for the 8th-9th hit
-block first, then cancel into a dash
-push far, but not too far
-cast TC again
Alright, I'll use it, but I'll have to face the opponent every time though. Time to give it a shot.
