Alright so, Since the start of JP DFF I never had any connectivity issues with players.
Most games were smooth and I never had to configure my router for anything.
Up until recently. I've come across a problem where everyone sees my friend card (The ones who I play with) but I don't see theirs.
If we try group mode we always crash at the music selection screen.
They also spot my friend card right away so there is nothing different about it.
I tried the DMZ stuff with Narolf the other day but it didn't want to cooperate.
I can safely say it's not my router either because I directly connected my modem to my PS3.
Which provided the same issue.
It looks like my data is being sent but something is blocking it from recieving data.
I'm don't have much knowledge over this but idea's or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks.
I know that you said its not but, it might be a shit modem. Needs to be replaced. Maybe Ethernet Cord?
Thanks to Galadin for the awesome signatures
Yes, old router is most of the time the problem. When's the last time you changed it out?

Thanks Ian and Galadin
I have the same problem too (sadly pretty often)
The only way I see how to avoid it is to find another host.
Group works just sometimes. So try first group and if this don't work try to find another host.
My router is pretty new and I still have the problem.
Why ? Because AHP is a poor ****

Have you tried port-forwarding? http://us.playstation.com/support/an...x.htm?a_id=241

We started to enter ports but stopped mid-way because it was late. It can't be related to that anyway since he still has the problem while being directly plugged to the modem and modems don't require to port-forward (except if his modem is a combo modem/router). My other guess was his iso or save got corrupted somehow, but it can't be that either as he is having the problem on both EU and US. I think he should check whether his modem is a simple modem or a combo modem/router. If it's the latter then he'll have to access the configuration of that one this time and DMZ or port-forward.
I discovered the issue that it was my ISP.
Zephyer confirmed this for me considering he's using the same provider as mine.
He cannot connect to anyone but people see his friend card.
Group battle crashes on the exact same spot as mine.
The question is though. Since i'm not really the technical wiz here.
What do I say to my provider?
Yes, but that doesn't really solve it, now does it?
You can say Bob sucks at something, but Bob wouldn't be any more wiser out of it, except he now know some one is not happy with him.
If they knew what the issue was, they would have fixed it themselves by now. Clearly they don't know, so we need tell them that's wrong and needs fixing.
we'll call as soon as we know what we should tell out ISP.

Zephyer can't connect with anyone any longer either? I thought he only had the problem with some people.
Ask them to check your line, see if it is getting any loss in latency than what it should have.
