This question is mostly geared to the PvP community. I play PvP with friends but without a PS3 cant get involved in the online stuff yet. Even though the PvE AI is no match for real competition I still find joy in clearing all the story modes and running around in 000 beating random dungeons and looking for new ways/builds to round out my Secondary chars.
So do you still have fun with PvE?
If so how do you keep it enjoyable after all this time?
Id say I really only have fun in PvE fighting FC solo.
PvE is pretty much no fun at all. Like Seraph said, I did enjoy going for fast times on solo runs against FC level 130 (Cloud EX so beasting <3)... until I got my ps3 and adhoc party. I actually still haven't completed the Labyrinth for the sole reason it's really boring to fight the AI and I therefore can't be bothered. The only reason I'll ever play against the AI now is to AP farm on bonus day vs level 1 Chaos if I feel like picking up a new character.
Quick Answer: NO.They are too mediokre.
Though Ad-Hok is too hardkore and exploitative of the dodge system, it doesn't look real when fighting so that's not so fun either. xD
There was a time where I had fun with PvE.
That time has long since passed.
Once you get a taste of PvP you don't want anything to do with the AI anymore.
But since I can't get on Ad-Hoc I play around with the AI from time to time with characters I don't normally use.

Special thanks to Kayarine for the signature and avatar!
Even playing against my brother's Squall for hours (he won't use anybody else) is more fun. Still, I mostly use offline to experiment with glitches and combos.
Nah computers are too predicable along with the fact that they mess up my PVP gameplay cause i expect the computer to do shit there SUPPOSED to do >_>

I used to play against the A.I. just to practice combos and test out random builds back when I didn't have AHP. Not much else you could do by yourself, eh. Only real kick I got out of both of the A.I.s in Dissidia (1st and 2nd) was kicking Chao's (Lv.120 and Lv.130, respectively) ass in both games. They provided somewhat of a challenge.
Nowadays, that doesn't compare to the joy PvP can bring. It's much better to play against a living, breathing human being whose skill level determines the difficulty of a typical match in any game. Or at least that's how I'd put it. :P

Spoiler:☆Dissidia 012 and Beatmania IIDX player.☆Spoiler:
Occasionally when I have to do a replay I'll kick the crap out of the AI with someone I can barely use, and I enjoy it, but it's not as good as a real challenge.
