Question about Mirror Pieces
A question about Mirror Pieces. (Also, very sorry if I'm in wrong part of the forums for questions.)
in Dreams of a Flying Castle
Is it optional to fight the Mirror Pieces in Floors 2 - 5 or do you have to fight them?
(I've only been too Floors 2/3, whichever one it was..)
IIRC you have to fight them on every floor.

The mirror pieces? If you simply want to get through the gateway, then most mirror pieces are optional.
If you're after the red chests on the 4th floor, then they appear when you step on the tile of the mirror piece nearest the Stigma of Chaos piece, so you end up fighting it, anyway.
