Arcade Mode Times

Hey guys, at the behest of a gamefaqs member, I made an account here and this is my first post.

I would like to know people's arcade times, as I'm really getting into that mode. I recently got 00:48:39 with Cloud on the Crystal Course, and I'd like to know where my time stands among the ranks, as gamefaqs & youtube seem uninterested in this mode, hence why I'm here. A 00:48:39 in the Crystal Course with 10 matches? That seems a little... Suspicious. XD You'd have to be using hacked accessories for that, even with someone who has HP links.

Unless you're only talking about the first match, in which case I've done that in about 50 seconds or so with Golbez myself.

Sorry to disappoint, but I didn't use any hacks. And I mean all 10 rounds.

That seems absolutely impossible, sorry to say. I'd like some other proof if you can provide it, like how it was done.

Edit: Figured out the trick. Level adjustment + Iai Strike build. I forget that stuff exists, since it's not viable anywhere else.

Certainly. Judging from your surprise and the fact that I now see you're a moderator, I take it no one has made it this far. And hey, if I can get you interested in this mode, maybe others will attempt to beat me too, which I encourage. This took a lot of trial and error to for me to find out.

Interesting, so you basically had to get really lucky with Gilgamesh the 2 times it's necessary to use him.

...no, not quite. I had only 2 summons set, Alexander & Behemoth. However, I had Gilgamesh equipped. Also, you'll find that with Gilgamesh, you don't get lucky. Some rounds work 100% of the time and some rounds don't work 100% of the time. Is this the proof you needed?

I see the idea of it, yes. It's certainly different than I was expecting.

It was certainly different from what I was expecting as well. I initially got some decent times in around the 4 minute mark using Iai Strike, but I absolutely hated using it. I remembered a video of someone in the original Dissidia beating time attack in about 3 minutes, so I wondered if I could emulate that as well. What started out as using the Ancient Weapon set evolved into something much more, which is the set you see above.

Also, I don't know how to hack the game, and I have never played it online, though I don't have any evidence to back up my claims.

Thinking about it, it's probably possible to get about that close with a Cloud Iai strike/EX build (the EX just because his ex mode makes the AI panic). I don't know why you'd feel bad about that though, it's easy enough to fail with an Iai Build.
