Vincent:Yes, our King has an...interesting taste in decor.
???:I heard that!

*The voice echoes from the throne on the opposite end of the room. Oswald's shadowy form hops off of his seat and waddles over to where Vincent and Irving are standing*

Oswald:So, you know about the Organization, do ya? Alright. Tell me what you know about 'em, and I'll see if I can help you find your Braig fella.

[Xernuht]

Irving: I don't know much, except that Braig seems to be one of the higher-ranked members. That, and I believe they have a number of keyblade wielders among their numbers. I have no idea what their intentions are, but they... well, Braig went out of his way to kill many of the people from my world who apparently knew... Now, tell me what you know about Braig.

[ArgyleNinja]

*Oswald opens his mouth to speak, when a blonde woman with glasses runs in, a serious look on her face*

Oswald:Quistis, I'm in a meeting!
Quistis:Sorry, milord, but this is urgent...They've taken the Deep Jungle.
Oswald:WHAT?! How?! When?!
Quietus:Two hours ago. Recon Scanners are on standby with live video."
Oswald:Bring them up.

*Quistis pulls out a small pad and quickly punches in a command. Moments later, a grainy blue screen appears, displaying a ruined forest, overrun with Heartless. Shadows can be seen in the background, two in particular standing out. The one on the right is muscular and is begging a rifle or shotgun of some kind. The one on the left is taller and skinnier, and is taking potshots at something offscreen with his bowguns*

Muscular Man:Braig, where is the fun in this? All we're doing is scattering an abandoned beehive. No-one's here except us and those fools who tried to stop us back at the camp.
Braig: Patience, Gaston. You'll get your fill soon enough. This was a key strategic point for them. Traverse Town is the closest restock point to here and we've cut off both routes now. We know they restock at Traverse Town because of its distance. All we need to do is see where the reclamation team comes from, and we'll have 'em cornered.

*Something then catches Gaston's eye, and he shoots at the scanner, reducing the image to static*

Oswald:...
Vincent:My Lord, what do you want to do?

*Oswald hops back into his throne, and begins rubbing his temples with his ears*

Vincent:We need that town for our supplies, Lord Oswald.
Quistis:Eh? Did you listen to ANY of what those guys were saying? At all?
Vincent:Only that they sent two people to hold a strategic position. If we--
Quistis:There are plenty of other Worlds we can get supplies from!
Vincent:And what about those of us who have family and friends? Are we going to just let them sit there without word?
Oswald:Shut it, the both of ya!

*Vincent and Quistis immediately quiet down and kneel at Oswald's feet,


Both:My apologies, Lord Oswald.
Oswald:Here's what we'll do. Vincent. You and Lulu will head down to the Coliseum and await my orders. Quistis, has Knight Scout Hagane returned yet?
Quistis:No, milord.

Oswald:Then call him and tell him to get his butt back here.
Quistis:Understood.

*As Vincent and Quistis leave, Oswald turns to Irving.

Oswald:So...What do you wanna do?

[Xernuht]

Irving: Well, that there answered my question about why Braig left me here, and now I know where he is. If you don't mind, I'll be on my way.

Irving quickly bows and turns to leave the room, activating his armor.

*Back at Radiant Garden, Hagane is walking with Zidane, Struggle championship. Elton wrapped around his waist, when his phone starts ringing*

Hagane:Talk to me.
Quistis:Where are you?!
Hagane:Just taking a walk. Why?
Quistis:You're needed, so get back to Base immediately.
Hagane:Understood.

*Hagane hangs up and immediately runs off*

Zidane:What the--Hey! You were supposed to treat me!
Hagane:I know, but something important came up. I'll treat you when I get back!

[Xernuht]

As Irving exits the castle, a spear juts out and stops him.

Kain: You intend to leave us?
Irving: Wage a war with the Organization all you want. I just want Braig.
Kain: The presence of more Keyblade wielders in our ranks would give us a definite edge against them, and you would have our aid in defeating Braig.
Irving: You don't get it, do you? That fight is yours, and I frankly don't give a damn if you all burn. All I care about is finding and killing Braig.

Irving draws one of his longswords, pointing it at Kain.

Irving: Now get out of my way, lancer, or I'll cut my way past you.

Kain pauses, then retracts his spear.

Kain: Very well. Just know we will not dig your grave when you die in your quest for vengeance.

Meanwhile, in Olympus Coliseum, a large, musclular man covered in scars is sparring with a man wearing leather armor, while a short fat satyr watches*

Satyr:C'mon, Herc! He practically fed you that hit! Keep your arms out when you're clos--Ooh!

*The scarred man has just grabbed 'Herc' by his outstretched arms and slammed him to the ground, then twists his arms around behind his back in a corkscrew armbar*

Herc: Phil, please, please stop helping!
Phil:Okay, okay, sheesh. Okay, Jack, it's time for sword training.

*The scarred man releases Hercules, then rotates his armored left arm, making a small symphony of clinking sounds*

Scarred Man:First things first, goat man. It's Jecht, not Jack. Secondly, I'm the teacher here, not you. At least for today. So I'd appreciate it if you could stop talking like I'm some student of yours. Hercules, grab your weapon.

*Hercules grabs his weapon, a shortsword with a golden handle and hilt, while Jecht grabs his weapon, which looks like the unholy offspring of a two-handed sword and an anchor*

Hercules:Oh, my...
Jecht:What, is that toothpick the key for the case you keep your real sword in? I mean, come ON.

[Xernuht]

There was a small explosive noise that filled the air around the Wasteland Castle as Irving throttled into space at top speed. Upon exiting the atmosphere, Irving paused, taking in his surroundings (mostly stars and the planet below, but hey...). A thought then hit him in the face, causing him to grasp at his helmet and sigh.

Irving: ... Where the hell do I go now?

*After making sure he hasn't been followed, Hagane activates his Keyblade Armor. The armor itself is black with gold plating and red lines all over it. The helmet has a mohawk-like line of forward-facing fins ending with a longer horn-like one that falls down the middle of the faceplate, and a pair of tusk-like spikes jutting out from either side of the helmet's jawline*

Hagane:And now the transportation.

*Hagane materializes his Keyblade, which splits into two separate blades. The two blades then morph into a pair of skeletal-looking mechanical wings*

Hagane:Right, then. Now to head back to base...

*Seconds later, his Glidewings emit a low hum, and he shoots straight up into the sky. Within minutes, he's free of the world's gravitational pull, taking in the sights. After a moment of introspection, he presses a button on the side of his helmet, and a number of small windows pop up, giving him statistics on his health, his suit's current state of repair, and the like*

Hagane:Bring up World List.

*The windows all shrink out of sight, save for one which enlarges itself in front of Hagane's face. This window displays a number of Worlds*

Hagane:Bring up and Lock in on Wasteland Castle's position.

*Moments later, a single thin strand of light appears in front of Hagane, and darts outward into the Space Between Worlds, emitting a satisfying beeping noise after a few seconds*

Hagane:Autopilot to destination at max speed.

*After another few seconds, Hagane's Glider wings hum to life again, and he darts off following the preset path he just made*

[Xernuht]

Kain smirks a little bit as another loud blasting noise fills the air, and Irving returns to the castle.

Kain: Reconsidered our proposal already?
Irving: Shut it. I... I just need directions to that world, okay?
