I searched the title and nothing came up, so I'm just gonna BLAMO this poo poo up into the breeze.

I've been a continuous fan, who has loved the franchise in almost all media(console games, anime, manga, TCG even though I Had no idea what the hell I was doing and continue to do so), but this is DEFINITELY my favorite. it has further cemented my love of everything SINCE the original, which I at least credit for it's more "well-roundedness."

02 at least was cheesy. especially the dub.
tamers traded it's sense of humor in for seriousness and a sense of writing that gave it a niche in the series that probably won't be matched(except possibly contested by season 2 of xros wars).
frontier, while I will at least defend it by saying it isn't nearly as bad some individuals I Know exaggeration, was extremely hit and miss. I somehow at least cannot hate it. the spirit evolution is certainly a welcome break from the normal digivolution tiers and the smaller cast means that more time can be spent on other characters(of one side or another). however, the show could have done more with itself, and did not do enough.
savers? pure manliness from start to finish. the only show in the series where I cannot honestly say that dubVSsub is an issue of preference, with the dub being as much of a betrayal as it was. savers also tackles racism quite well, with kurata being practically hitler-level racist against digimon, and the digimon being justifiably butthurt over it. ikuto didn't go very far and yoshino was practiclaly useless, but they weren't downright unlikable characters either, and touma's feeling sensor was a one-time gag that further cemented his role as a comical-level piece of genius.
but xros wars? cheesy, serious, freaking GAR.
xros wars embodies everything good about this franchise in one body, and then some.

this series is FREAKING MECHA AS HELL WHILE STAYING TRUE TO EVERYTHING THAT WAS A PRECONCEPTION ABOUT DIGIMON. can you imagine how hard it is to produce a sequel like that? DIGIVOLUTION IS RARE IN THIS DIGITAL WORLD AND YET THE BETRAYAL IS AVOIDED.

even the boy hunters who lept through time, it's somewhat less impressive sequel(hell, practically a season 3.) is passable. this image sums it up nicely.

I can't even hate it's disappointing sequel.

I guess I should wrap this up with some AMV's of two insert songs. this series also excels into the freaking STRATOSPHERE in it's songs.
