Since i have spend some time with kuja and obviusly with both as assist characters i think aerith is good for a agresive strategy for some things like this: (any atack)>Chase>floor WR>Aerith>force symphony,or
you can change force symphony for any atack and leave it like this: (any atack)>Chase>FWR>Aerith>Snatch Shot>WR>Aerith>Flare Star, with sephiroth i have notice that he is useful for Assist Chase, what in my opinion is sometimes boring, so tell me who you prefer and why

For Kuja, I use Jecht. He's good to hit with Force Symphony, Ultima and other reasons.
In your case, I would vote for Aerith.
Kuja has a lot of Chase attacks and you can call Aerith just before to connect any attack when she hits Seal Evil.
Sephiroth it's not that good, I mean, he's good and all but in the Assist Chase you gotta hit with Flare Star. Which I don't use due to the fact that is easy to punish after Assist Change. I rather go with Force Symphony, Seraphic Star and Ultima.

Not to mention Aerith combos let you get free EX by entering Chase while Seal Evil takes effect.

yeah i dont know why peopple keep saying sephiroth shephiroth when he is the worst assist for kuja and jecht have some good moves but i prefer the counterattack bonus when aerith freezes enemys so with that bonus i boost kuja and with sneak attack too so for me is better aerith than all and since kuja is a counterattacker![]()
Aerith, as others has said. Just be wary of using your Holy followup if the opponent has two assist bar; should they believe you'll use Aerith for chase cancel, nothing is stopping them from staggering you with a Lv. 2 Assist Change (unless you move away during Strike Energy/Snatch Shot's Holy followup).
Aerith's problem is lack of depletion, and speed. Just keep that in mind. Overall, Aerith is better though.
about that i think depletion its no so important on kuja cause, my kuja is a damager ¿why?, because kuja have one of the best attack boosters in the game (im not sure if it is the booster) and about depetion you can use assist depletion, and ex depletion isnt so important when you kill him before he get into ex mode or ex revenge (obviusly in a No-Online battle) XD so i think depletion isnt so important, and the fact of the speed you can always use her in combo with chase,it reduce the probability of wich enemy dodge seal evil
Well, I guess against the AI, depletion isn't important at all for obvious reasons.
Depends on the matchup you're faced with and what type of build you're running. Both have excellent synergy with Kuja and one shouldn't be classified above the other.
