Substitutions need to have much more strict timing and a bigger chakra penalty like the Ultimate Ninja games. Screwing it up felt like the punishment that it should have been. Plus, why can't we just have the different characters' awakening modes playable like Ninja Storm 1, that was so much better than the awakening system from the last 2. Especially when the most fun characters from 1 were the transformed ones (it's the only game where I liked Sasuke). Plus, you really need to have multiple assists for each character again. Generations had waaaaaay too many samey characters and not enough of Itachi's exploding shadow clones.
I heard their was going too be a stage were players can knock your opponent out of the battle arena.

I actually like how they added the Dynasty Warriors-esque battlefield they used in Ultimate Ninja Impact to parts of the story mode. (Like the army of Zetsu and have the main characters from the arc as bosses, pretty much exactly like the manga/anime)
Yeah i read something about that too on Saiyanisland, probly part of the above/story mode.
A new addition to the game is that there are now two awakening modes. It's also confirmed that once a player uses their awakening early, their chakra bar decreases and if a player depletes their chakra completely while in the early awakening mode, they will have to wait for a period before being able to charge their chakra. Its also confirmed that there is a new addition in the Team Attack System as the player can now use their support characters to get ready to charge and attack.

Yeah, the hack n slash sounds very interesting. I wonder if they are going too add that into online as a survival mode or something.
