Yes we get it you're a grammar nazi Cor, no need to post it three times..
EDIT: ...And I deleted them myself. I always thought deleting a post left behind a distracting "This user deleted this because X" message; I guess this just applies to visitor messages and group posts? Huh.Spoiler:

Tide-us. Teedus just sounds weird... and I could care less grammar nazi's. I have called him Teedus, when being official, but that's it.
P.S. wow, i thought i would have to make a thread on this one of these days.... thanks..
Are you even reading this?
Tidus: (off-screen) Don't do it! He's just gonna try to trick you into sucking his--
Jecht: God DAMMIT BOY! (off-screen) YOU JUST HAVE TO RUIN EVERYTHING, DON'T YOU?! I USED TO BE A WHALE!
Tidus: I though you didn't want to be a whale!
Jecht: OF COURSE I WANTED TO BE A WHALE! I'M GONNA BEAT YOU 'TIL YOU CAN'T WALK!

012 Secondaries/Fun to Play as: Emperor, Cloud, Sephiroth, Squall, Laguna, Prishe, Gabranth
It's funny because normally I'm the guy correcting people all the time, when I know Teedus is right but I just can't bring myself to say it. It's like calling MGS2's character "Rayden." Thank god "Raiden" is correct though.
Still, I wish they dropped the "name your character" thing in X so that I wouldn't have called him Tiedus for 10+ years.
Besides, calling him "Teedus" reminds me of "Pee-nus"
Well when I first played FF X I called him TIDE-US but idk it sounds natural as TEE-DUS to me since I can actually hear it now
Its like reading a Japanese name in a sub anime and your not sure if you said it right but if you hear it in dubbed later your like ah thats how its pronounced so you just roll with it...or at least i do
Thanks vance for my awesome siggy
I always called him TIDE-US but now it's starting to sound better as TEE-DUS but I agree about how it makes him sound whiny and wimpy though :3
Gabranth l Squall l PrisheSpoiler:Prize signature by Galadin. Team signatures by Mizu
I always have called him tide us. Mostly because of justifications for his association with water.
But the Japanese reasoning for the contrast of names of tidus and yuna make sense so I correct myself
