I would like to main Terra but it seems that she doesn't have much tech discovered here in Dissidia Forums.

I am not comfortable with her gameplay, I am more used to characters like WoL because he can do well in almost any situation at the battle. Terra can't do well if she is close to the enemy because all she's got is Blizzard Combo and assists. That's why I need a guide or something like that for Terra, and this forum doesn't have one, so I will try to test her with some players here.

First off welcome to the forums.

I would like to respond to this comment by saying Terra can do plenty in many situations in battle. You just need to learn the Match-ups and her playstyle and this takes a long time depending on how fast you adapt and learn. Like Lucky said you'd be surprised just how well she can do against certain characters. You need to consider many things when using Terra such as the right build, moves, and stage which might need to be changed after every battle if the fight is that bad for her. A ex build might be bad for a particular MU which would make it look like she is no good against that character at all but when using a sbs build it completely turns around for her. There is nothing wrong with using only Blizzard combo and assists when close to your opponent (in the air) especially if it works for her. As for the guide I actually plan on making one once I get a few more certain MUs in so I hope you will wait for that.

If you really like her that much enough to want to main her then you need to practice and learn everything you can about her in this game. There is this player named SolidSok who used to main Bartz but now main shantotto (a considered low tier, lower than terra) and after a while of practicing against the best players, taking the long and much needed time to learn her moves cons and pros he is now considered one of the best shantotto players on the forums (probably the absolute best) beating great players who used Ultimecia and Exdeath. He liked shantotto so much that he put all the effort he had into getting better with her and all of it paid off.

So all i can say is if you like her that much then spend all the time you need to get better with her. That's what I'm doing. Next to Yuna I hardly use anyone else but Terra and I do a pretty good job with her even in horrible MUs.

Also even if you lose alot, then it's ok. That is apart of the process of getting better by learning what to do next time. If you lose to a great player and you were close than that's all you need to know if your good with terra. Hope that helps and that you don't give up on her so soon. No it doesn't. Getting better is for any player. Solid was not a professional before using shantotto but he worked hard to be one. Anyway glad to see you changed your mind. You should go into the terra section and watch replays of her and read up on MU discussions

I read the entire Terra MU discussion and pretty much everybody thinks she's bad... Not looking good for me, but I still need to play human players to see what works and what does not work.
