I have been searching the forums as well as other sources, but have yet to really find an answer to my question(s). I didnt know where to post this topic, so forgive me if it was the wrong place.
Regarding AGUD, I have been on ahp and been fighting certain players that build the assist gauge really fast by seemingly dashing in place. (For lack of a better description)
From what i see, by equiping AGUD with jump times boost++ and just repeatedly dashing is how they do it. I guess my question is this a viable method to increasing assist gauge compared to normal shadow boxing, and is that really all there is to using this "method?"
Thanks in advance... :-)

You don't need to equip Jump Time Boost ++ to do that, you just need to put R and right after you must put /_\ and repeat this move again and again, it serves to boost the AST gauge like you say but you can also boost your speed
You can also use it for "feint" the ennemy
Hope it helps you ^^

Awesome Team sig made by Galadin!
To me it seems like you are explaining dash cancelling. What dash cancelling is or what it pretty much is, is that by pressing the right trigger and the triangle repeatedly in order will let you do what it seems like dash in place, but what you are really doing is actually cancelling the first few frames of a block into a dash start up and vise versa. This can be a reliable way to build assist safely if you know how to time it right and can do it repeatedly without it ending in a block or without getting punished. It can be tricky to do at first but with good practice its not that hard and it looks cool If that mattered to you.![]()
