Who is next for Dissidia?

Unfortunately I don't think any Cid really plays a large enough role to be playable. I mean from his inclusion into Theatrhythm it seems that Cid Haze has a chance, but thats it.

I - Astos or something. I guess? He could get RUB as an EX attack!
II - Borghen or Scott. The problem here is that Firion already packs most of the heroes in his arsenal—Leila's Thunder and knives are represented by Rope Knife, for example.
III - Xande? His arena is in, but I'm not sure what he'd do. Maybe... Hein?
IV - Rosa or Zemus. Really, not a likely bite here but there's the possibility of Edge, Yang, and many others.
V - Faris, Lenna, Galuf, or Krile. Notably, V is the only mainline game with two Chaos representatives, so any of the heroes are fair game.
VI - Gogo. He'd be the obligatory "random" fighter. Perhaps each of his BRV and HP attacks are randomized seperately? That'd be a complete blast. He wouldn't have to be worked into the plot at all, really.
VII - Red XIII or, better yet, Hojo. Good god, Hojo. He'd be up to some kooky shit for sure!
VIII - Seifer is a basically an auto-duh. There's not much point in speculating further, but Adele and Rinoa are good (distant) second guesses.
IX - Vivi is another unsung star here. There's not much else to pull in other than Beatrix. What, call in the Black Waltzes?
X - Seymour basically has zero excuses not to be in, now. If they wanted to dig around, they'd find plenty of other candidates in the form of PCs. Auron's a sure sell. Of course, there's hope for a more obscure pick. Braska, anyone?
XI - That elf dude with the eye. Yeah, uh, that one. From XI. Yep.
XII - Doctor Cid Good god. Not only is that an excuse to include Balthier, but the potential for intelligent turrets in the form of his Rooks (hook up their individual movesets like BRV links?) makes me wet in the shorts. XII characters seem to come in pairs, though. Balthier and Cid, Ashe and Vayne. The only real no-strings pick is Basch. I mean, Penelo I guess, but who does that leave making snark in the Battle Tips?
XIII - Raines. Barthandelus has the disadvantage of having to turn into pope-owl-jesus-mech-thing in order to do combat, whereas Raines can just hurt you. Honestly, I'd rather just have Serah and Noel and v. lightning but canon is a thing. Humph.

Where I to speculate like a fantard, though, I'd say Delita. Picture that for a second! Delita with a nose!

I take it you missed the conversation that just happened about why Barthandelus would still have priority and also not have to turn into said pope-owl-jeses-mech-thing (got thats fun to say~) in order to fight.

I & III don't have enough "real" characters to add, IMO. The only characters I really want to see are Leon (II), Celes (VI), Vivi (IX), & Zack (CC). I imagine Celes being balanced between physical and magical attacks, like OK. I don't really care about anyone from the other games.

And I know it's foolish to suggest non-FF characters, but it would be awesome to have Crono from Chrono Trigger. Think about it. THINK ABOUT IT.

But something bothered me about the new character picks for Duodecim. VI has fourteen playable characters. Fourteen. They could have added anyone and it would have been awesome. Not to mention that VI is one of the most popular and beloved games in the series. And they passed up a chance to include another representative from VI...for an NPC from XI?

Don't get me wrong, I like playing Prishe, and she's hilarious, but I can't help but think, "...Seriously?"

XI is much more popular then VI, especially in Japan where VI isn't considered a stand out of the series.

I know that, I responded your thoughts with my thoughts on the first page. I wrote that for the people who WERE posting wishlists. If you don't believe it applies to you it probably doesn't.

I really think they should have added Vincent Valentine in DDFF. It would be a great idea if he was in a third game
