Chrono Trigger vs. Chrono Cross

Trigger. lol. For nostalgia's sake. Although Cross was probably the most epic sequel to ever exist in history.

i'd vote for Chrono Trigger.. i don't like the idea of Chrono Cross having more than a hundred characters.. and their gameplay is UNUSUAL for a typical RPG with HP/MP

Well the only rpg I liked with more than a hundread characters are the Suikoden Series

Crono Cross. My first jrpg ever. Everything was so great, I loved chars, music, battles(especially with the dragons) and... Harle. Just awesome.

Most would say Chrono Trigger was better but I know a few that would say Cross was. In my opinion Chrono trigger was a better game in general however, Chrono Cross had better music and graphics (those FMVs were glorious).

Saying a game is better purely because of it's graphics seems a bit off to me.

Cross. Better music, better silent protagonist, better overall plot (even if explaining if felt a bit rushed) and more good characters. Sure, some guys were a waste of space, but the guys that actually are developed truly make up for that. Cross' antagonist was also far more magnificent.

i would say Chrono Trigger. i played it and beated a few times. it was the best RPG ever. Cross was good but not nearly as good as Trigger but it has good music.
