I always was interested in Final Fantasy XI, I'm not very used to MMOs but I think I'll give it a try, I started playing XIV a while ago when I went to my friends house because they PC is better than mine (But I think XI should go fine with my PC) I use my SE account to play XIV then is just make some things before start playing, like put the code and etc? Well I'll try to get the game today (Via steam, should not have any problem right?), hope I'll like the game and then play with you guys soon o/

Also, while we do lack a Taru (and Galka at the moment) there is no pressure for you to pick those races. Choose whatever race you want to be. Also, it would be best (at least at the start) to choose either San d'Oria or Bastok as your starting nation in order to make reaching you easier. If at any time you want to change nations, me or Sok will help with the payment needed to make the switch (the cost is chump change to us).

Also, for those not aware, there is a new expansion coming out in 2013 with two new jobs: Geomancer and Rune Fencer. FFXI is far from dead.

Are you guys still going strong? I recently came into some sum of money and I am debating what I want to do with the small slice I stuck in my checking account instead of savings, haha. I've been thinking about maybe trying to get into FFXI again

We're not as active as we were before. Sparki is on consistently. School has taken up a lot of my time. Vamps has been busy with school too i think, that and Borderlands 2.

I'll probably get the game anyway once my bank account is updated. I had my old disks so I could install FFXI and do all the updates ahead of time, but I'll probably still buy the ultimate collectors pack for 20 so I can get the expansions I'm missing and get new keys. Been playing around on a free trail account for the last 2 days for the nostalgia.
