How to fix the notification glitch
You know when you get a notification and you leave your profile page, it may not go away? There is a very easy way to fix it by yourself.
Just delete your most recently-obtained VM, leave your page, then it will go away.
If you get the glitch via PM, do the same thing. Delete your most recent PM, leave your inbox, and it should disappear.
Spoiler:
You can restore the VM afterwards just fine, but it doesn't always work with the notification still being there. Has it really ever happened with PMs?

Yes. I got it about two or three times back then. I assume a few others got the PM glitch also before.
