sent private messages?
Topic is closed since I got the answer.
The reason I did not receive my sent messages in my sent folder is because my settings weren't set to do so. If you have the same "problem" you can change it in the general settings.

So I got my first private message today and I wanted to reply.
I wrote a whole bunch of text and clicked send.
However nothing showed up in the sent messages menu. So I decided to write it again, still nothing.
Can anyone tell me if this is normal and whether or not it send?
By the way it's been an hour now and still nothing in the sent messages box.

I think that's normal. I've sent many replies to PM's myself, however, nothing appears in my sent items. It may be that sent items refers only to messages that aren't replies, like messages that you yourself start, but that's just a hypothesis. :0

To have it show up in your sent items folder, you need to check the checkbox below your message that says "Save a copy of this message in your Sent Items folder". It's under the "Additional Options" section right below where you write your message.
