I introduced Ultimastrike to the world of dissdia he instantly fell in love with it so seeing as he had no way of getting the game and my own personal life becoming to busy to play dissidia , he began to read over all the details of this game via the forums and so it began about 2 years after his introduction too dissidia he finaly got a psp and a copy of 012 and wanted to challenge me saying he has read up on things of this game and can take me on... i being a man of EXP in the game not knowlege on the specifics thought i could beat him as i played this game for 300 hours i was sorely mistaken and i now find myself against a worthy opponent who keeps comming up with new strategies. I just keep getting better in my skills ...

This is a battle between Smarts and Skill

Me and Ultimastrike will be posting video replays of our battles and have agreed to only post our wins

Even though we have battled alot now... i reset the numbers because due to distractions i wont state what (and ultimastrike will hopefully agree) but its best if we do ill have ultimastrike in charge of keeping score for us starting now

Well, we'll make sure to save our battles. Just for formal uses, here are our Rules we go by:

-Stage Selected by person(We will take turns).
-No Rules
-No Judgment(Changed due to figuring out the fact of stages vs. Characters)

Sometimes we'll do a Special Battle, just for fun. Rules will be posted later on about it when we are doing it.

Ultimastrike- The Ultimate Striker

First learned about the game when Acehunter introduced it to him. Got interested later on and after a couple years now has the ability to fight his friend with his wits and skills.

Playstyle: Unknown
Main: Squall Leonhart
Subs: Zidane, Exdeath, Terra(rest is unknown atm)



Acehunter- The Ace Hunter

Introduced Ultimastrike to DDFF. He has played 300+ hours and has learned from experience the different things inside DDFF. However, couple years later after he introduced him to DDFF, his friend challenged him and was defeated. Now he is beginning to train to get better against his rival to win back his pride.

Main: Zidane
Subs: Cloud, Gabranth, Warrior of Light, Ultimecia

Videos from previous battles(which I haven't uploaded or Ace hasn't uploaded) will be here after a while. (We had a bunch on the 17th, since we had quite a bit of time on our hands...)

You shouldn't use Random Stages or Double Judgement, why?

-Random Stages: Stage BRV can be wayyyyyy higher than usually (since it can reach 9999 lol) so it can be pretty unfair

-Double Judgement: You can see by yourselves if you want to be EX Break each time you go through EX Mode

Mogstache, I think you're going about it wrong. We set it to NO RULES, meaning Initial BRV won't fluctuate to 9999.

A note on Random Stages: The Initial BRV of a randomly generated stage does NOT fluctuate to 9999(for any stage in particular unless it's something like Omega Bahamut, Omega Planet's Core, Omega Old Chaos Shrine, Omega Empyreal Paradox, or Omega Pandaemonium, which take BRV>Stage BRV or increase it over time).

Also, Double Judgment makes it more difficult, and it involves more strategy. Also, when we get Merciful Touch, we do not go STRAIGHT into EX Mode(unless it's someone like Gabranth, who lives on EX Mode for HP attacks).

This technically makes this fair, considering that the battle winner won through match-up, stage, and player skill. So please make sure you clarify your reasons with proof before stating them as such in the future.

Me and Ace talked about it a bit earlier and we decided on using the set-up you suggested. I'll change the rules in a minute, so give me a bit. Also, until we get our replays uploaded(which will take Ace a while, he's having to use his phone) we're not going to host any battles; however, the next battle we're going to have is a Party Battle with Round-Robin.

UPDATE: Party Battle has been changed to Tournament Rules.

Take out the Double Judgement,it's kinda unfair when you do EX-Revenge after merciful touch.

Just set it to Off.Skill,random maps are fine.
