Garland is an underrated character. This character is good!

How can anyone think this guy sucks?

Okay in the JP version he was pretty weak, but now... He's a complete beast.

Pros:
Great ground game
Stagger on most of his moves (ouch)
Guard break on a BP move!!!
Tornado>Blaze is a viable tactic (Go fishing)
EX mode is pretty wild
Terrific range on most of his moves
despite his appearance, he isn't THAT slow

Cons:
Hp moves are not so hot
Aerial game is simply -okay-
No projectile

I never thought he sucked! I actually love pulling of his ground comboes and such.

I dont like playing with Garland at all, he is to slow. But i dont think he is underated or a bad character. I do know that not alot of people around her main him.

His ground brave moves (like Highbringer) actually come out really quickly, compared to some other characters. But to be honest, I haven't used him too much. I think in certain cluttered maps, Tsunami is pretty good. Round Edge is pretty quick and can link into attacks like Tsunami, so his brave game isn't UNBEARABLE..

The reason I made this because I was once a Garland hater.

Every time someone mentioned Garland I'd go Pfft! Play Cloud.
The jokes on me. But this guy really is an awesome character to play as.
Round Edge can link into Tsunami.

Garland has always been my favorite character, even before I actually heard of Dissidia! (don't really remember why, though)
He's awesome in this game.

Garland is a great character, only moves that make opponent stagger is usually round edge or lance charge(this move goes thru the opponent so u can bardiche them right after)

But i just dislike his HP game soo much

Round Edge-Earthquake can be a viable option. But yeah, his HP moves are his downfall. That and his..openness on some of his attacks. Otherwise, he's a great character. Also, if Blaze had Higher Priority, he'd be an Excellent Exdeath Counter

Round Edge does not link to Tsunami =\ Its easily dodged by dodging towards your opponent. But yeah Garland is a great character. I was like you PK and I didn't like him that much but then Falcord came along and changed that =) Very fun character to use and can be deadly if used right

And he does has Projectile's =\ Blaze
