anyone here play radiata stories?

i thought it was actually one of the best storyliines in a videogame, it just caught my attention so well.

I wouldn't say it had a perfect story, but it was a fun game. Gabriel Celeste's prebattle cutscene was hilarious, and the game had a good sense of humor.

but the end was so serious man they had the perfect degree of humour and serious if you ask me

There needs to be more posts in this thread and it needs to be under Square-Enix games too!

Radiata Stories was a gem of an RPG, probably the most underrated of the PS2 era. I guess, more likely than not, that's probably so enjoyable because it never takes itself TOO seriously, similar to Chrono Trigger back in the day. Still, the plot was there and it was damn good too (as you'd expect with 170 playable characters).

I love rewatching some of the Volty Blasts like these (ignore the marginally annoying Jpop)

I played the game and i have to say it was far from perfect. It was fun but it could have been alot better !

I have the sudden urge to play it again.....

Spoilerific, but according to the short Radiata Stories manga, the non-human ending was canon.

I still prefer the human path for it's considerably better characters though

ive been praying for a direct sequel JUST SO i could know which path is cannon

now that i do AND ITS THE CORRECT ONE i can finally be at peace with this game (more sothan i already am)
