so....if you fight someone who already has ex seeker artifacts, you can get those same artifacts by fighting him? Also, do only armor get these effects, or can weapons as well?

Weapons can aswell. However it's all up to you if you want Artifact Weapons. Personally, Weapons are better than their Artifact Counterparts. (Although an Artifact Piggy Stick will give you ALOT of Brave.)

Yes sir that is correct. You probably got some from fighting me yesterday. When you get the artifacts they will come with the ability I had but you also (usually) have the option to name it again and give it a random high tier ability.

well i hadn't ever looked at artifacts before so i already had 20 lol, so i didn't get them

Stats on a weapon don't change when they become an artifact. The only thing that changes is the effect of the weapon.

So a Piggy Stick that is converted to an artifact keeps the +200 BRV and +68 ATK that it orginally had but loses its effect and gains whatever artifact ability that is generated when you name it.

Speaking of Piggy's Stick, I'm actually trying to get that weapon in order to do the Artifact converting. Unfortunately, I have not been able to get it because there is one Recipe that I am missing. This Recipe is known as Strategy Guide. Now I've checked in many forums and many sites but nowhere have I seen anyone talk about how to get each ingredient for Piggy's Stick. The nearest I got close to discovering information on Strategy Guide was a question that someone posted, asking what it does. But what I'm asking is how can I obtain Strategy Guide? It is the last one I need for Piggy's Stick. If anyone can answer this question, I would greatly appreciate it.

The one you want is the Vivi friend card: 702718560 for EU version and 3784227940 for NA version. It has Strategy guide equipped and you can battlegen it by EX bursting him.

By the way, about artifact weapons: Heaven's Cloud or Piggy's Stick with EX Seeker? Im assuming Piggy's stick artifact is affected by Katana adept?

Or maybe Piggy's stick with Mastery of Bravery on top of its +200 brave or Mysteries of the Visceral?

Ah! So it was the Vivi card. I feel quite ignorant for forgetting that I had that card. Although I had presumed that it might have been from a coded friend card and not just a simple recipe code. All in all, thank you for confirming this with me, Dark Knight! Much appreciated.

On another note, I am quite interested in having a few matches with people from this site. As you can see, I'm obviously new here... ^^'; But I have been in quite a lot of battles and experienced enough to understand the general basics and most of the information on these equipment.

Oh! And as for Piggy's Stick Artifact, I believe it's most likely with Mastery of Bravery. But that's merely my theory. I'm sure others have a more accurate answers to that.
