Favorite character so far?

Where is my beloved SHIDO REINZU? I just loved his character design, and I tend to like the betrayer characters (so long as they're not portrayed by hideous stuffed animals with megaphones).
Ho-hum. I guess I'll give mister Katzroy some love instead. He was a genuinely good character, and quite easily the best black character in any FF (not that he has much competition).

Here's a little background for you:

Cait Sith- Literally translates to fairy cat, the creature was said to haunt the Highland region. The cat was said to be as big as a dog and completely black, apart from one white spot on its breast. Like a real cat it could be ferocious if stumbled upon.

It is possible the belief is related to some of the mystery black cats that have been caught in the region. The Highlands are also still populated with the wild cat in some places, they are extremely aggressive if cornered.

The Highlands refers to the Scottish Highlands, which is the type of accent that Cait Sith has.

Well... thanks for that history lesson. It's purged the fallacy that the voice was 'unfitting'.

My favorite is sazh because he brings the comedic relief the game needed from all the serious parts but he knows hot be serious himself, (also because the coolest black FF character of all) sorry to all of the barret lovers XD

I think Jihl, Cid and Yaag were good characters, but it was a pity they weren't focused around/developed much. The latter two made good anti-heros, especially Cid was a tragical figure, but Jihl was so ignored in the game, it's a pity.
