Favorite Chrono Trigger character?

lol I'm the only one that voted for Marle =P

Her fighting abilities were lackluster, but I loved her personality, story, and the way she brought depth to Crono's character - a difficult task for a character who never speaks.

Thinking about that scene when she used the Chrono Trigger on top of Death Peak ranks up there for me with some of the most emotional scenes in any game, imo (including the end of FFVII's first disc).

I like his flashy sword techs that just pwn.

Even though he is muted he fits in really well and stands out, Especially in the PS cutscenes, which were really good.

Oh and marle gets my second vote if there ever is one, Crono and marle just make one epic team

I voted for Marle though. If you're going to have a silent hero, you'd better have a freakin' awesome leading lady. And Marle's personality fit really well. The scene on top of Death Peak still remains one of my favorite scenes in any RPG to this day.

I voted Crono. Top five...

Crono(because he is too badass to stay dead)

Magus(He uses a scythe and he floats when running. EPIC WIN!!!)

Glenn/Frog(Because if a frog can kick that much ass, he must be cool)

Marle(A crossbow-user. Who's also a princess. And a mage. Interesting.)

Ayla(I admit, I find her hot. The hottest party member in the game.)

I seriously can't vote. I just don't know who. They're all great characters and there is a reason this RPG has stood the test of time.

Obviously Crono is awesome in his own right - especially for someone who doesn't talk (much).

Lucca, while originally felt like a know-it-all, as the game goes on, you realize her real motives and becomes someone so unbelievably determined that you can't help but enjoy her character from there on out.

Marle, as others have said, she is a great compliment to Cronos character and her odd mixture of abilities/stature make her an interesting and lovable character.

Frog has a good amount of depth as well and his rivalry with Magus really helps add to it all.

Ayla, while not very deep, is very lovable and enjoyable to be around. I like having her in the party on a regular basis because of her character.

Robo. When I first played, I hated him, but as I got older, I really appreciated his character and started to grow fond of him. Sadly, I still don't enjoy his battle prowess.

Magus is probably one of the deepest characters and has a huge amount of development over the course of the story. It makes it hard not to really like him. He really does fall into the same trap as Vegita :P

In the end though, Crono, Magus, and Ayla tend to be in my party the most, so it's likely one of those three. I just can't decide which XD
