Default How to "Gravity Ball>Nightfall" properly? >.>"

I've been having trouble doing Gravity Ball>Nightfall on human players lately because whenever i do the combo, i end up being block or just dodged.. i mean, right after gravball im already mashing the inputs for nightfall but that still happens.. any suggestions?

You have to already be really close to the ground when you do it. If you do it from max range, you're right, it's just going to get blocked or dodged. Also try DCing forward as soon as possible. I'm not entirely sure because I never use this combo (I don't equip Gravity Ball)

DC afterwards like Ghurd suggested. Or better yet, don't use it. The aerial combo move is much better imo; if you hit with Gravity Ball, most likely you will hit with Searchlight as well, plus you can DC before the combo finishes, preventing the swap. If searchlight hits, once against you can combo with once of Cecil's aerial melee attacks (I don't remember the names of all the attacks, so I won't bother). Just a suggestion. If you actually want to stick with JUST Gravity ball, you have to be close in the first place, DC over them, and use whatever attack from there.
