Well, just thought I'd add a bit to this... Colonel mentioned the inevitable Omni vs. Free air dash, and I'd just like to point out that mindgames are still possible with both of them.

Second, can a HGC be preformed on a multi-air dash? If yes, you can pretty easily fake an aerial approach only to multi-dash in and HGC, this would preserve the speed and directional advantage on Omni, while you could also equip Free Air for Terra and Ulty...

When playing against heavy-ground characters(Firion, Golbez, Cloud...to name a few), being close to the ground is the most common approach for certain characters, just as Sephiroth. Considering his range and Sudden Cruelty´s ability to punish dodges, enemies can´t truly avoid HGC without risk because it´s too fast to wait for. Also taking into consideration that a close-to-ground Omni Air Dash also triggers HGC(and faster than Free Air Dash), you have some powerful mindgames going on during a simple dash.

Swift Attack - I have honestly never used this attack seriously. It has quick execution, but no range. Good for chipping and interrupting.
Way to go, champ! Show them all how it´s done!

I don't think its possible or it would be extremely hard to do. Since MAD is basically an OAD after a jump, and for HGC Sephiroth has to be close to the ground at the end of the dash.

I havn't done thorough testing on this tho, correct me if im wrong

I'm not sure but I really think this is not possible unless you MAS very near the ground. since you need to expend your jumps to use MAS, it is very unlikely for you to MAS near the ground but no testing has been done. Maybe some people might test.

    Prepare for glory!
