    Default show some gabranth looove

seriously guys, why no one spoke about gabranth? he's one of the best character in the game

yeah i know his normal mode sucks like hell, but if you can at least survive for 5 seconds charging your EX bar, you're on your way to EX madness.

seriously, his EX mode is FUCKING cheap. his triple spin aerial BRV is UNAVOIDABLE except if the enemy BLOCKS it (yes block, not dodge). SECOND, his aero(super whoamg cyclone) attack, tracks like shit and has a large hitbox, not to mention that it IS a projectile. also, his ground brave (where he slashes 10 times)sucks the hell out of your opponents brave.

now his HP attacks are monstrous. Innocence(the move where he shoots 4 sonicbooms, available both aerial and ground) are neigh unavoidable at the correct range(plus you can move while he is casting the move mid air). evasion must be done at precise timing (and i'm not exaggerating). his initial aerial HP is almost unavoidable at close range, too. unfortunately his excellion (ground HP where he slashes space and causes an explosion) sucks. i suggest that you avoid it.

for his items and equips, i recommend that you use his chaos blade. it gives 20% ex mode time and 50% more gauge is filled when absorbing ex cores.

for accessories, put some accessories (4 would be pretty sufficent) that will increase damage (preferrably champion belt and such), so that his limit break would cause more damage, and the rest is for slots that increase EX core spawning, 50% ex core absorption, 20% EX mode time, etc.

anymore suggestions? i'll try to post a gabranth video if i have the time

No suggestions at all from me, I can't play as Gabrant. :/ I tried playing as him for the first time, yesterday and he's waaay too slow for my liking.

Taking fiction from a good friend for facts is only natural.

yeah i know his normal mode sucks like hell, but if you can at least survive for 5 seconds charging your EX bar, you're on your way to EX madness.
You can also hit the opponent a couple of times, and if you're equipping the EX Gauge Accessory Build, it'll give Gabranth a nigh-permanent EX Mode as long as you attack/get attacked/block/get blocked.

his triple spin aerial BRV is UNAVOIDABLE except if the enemy BLOCKS it (yes block, not dodge).
It's called "Judgement Master", and yes, it's very strong, though it can be avoided by good timing, unless you're backed into a corner.

SECOND, his aero(super whoamg cyclone) attack, tracks like shit and has a large hitbox, not to mention that it IS a projectile.
True, if your opponent is close to you.

also, his ground brave (where he slashes 10 times)sucks the hell out of your opponents brave.
It's called Aggressor, and yes, it's very strong and more often than not can drain your opponent's Brave just as strong as Squall's Brave Attacks when he's equipped with Lion Heart.

Innocence is hard to dodge, but if you're Squall, and you're at medium or long range, Rough Divide will slash through the Innocence projectiles, and as an added bonus, it will hit Gabranth if he's on the ground, or hovering in the air. Same for Cloud's Braver. But under most circumstances, it's really hard to avoid.

His Aerial Brave Attack is called Hatred, and it's nearly unavoidable at close range, but unless you charge it, the opponent has to be close.

Execution I think hits most successfully after a parry.

However, Gabranth is tied at first place with Squall as my favorite character in the game. He is easy to use, versatile, and with the right equipment, he will destroy the opposition.

I cant take playing as gabranth. He has to keep running and charging until he goes exmode. Totally not my style.

Too slow for my liking. I like to move around the area as much as possible. I would rather get ex mode properly too.

I love playing as Gabranth, especially when he isn't in EX mode, because it raises the stakes ALOT, and makes the win more fun and rewarding. Like, I still go into EX mode to use HP attacks, but not as soon as i get it. Just leaves the opponents dreading the inevitable powerup, and making them act hastily and making mistakes they wouldnt make with a cool head. And once they get their own EX mode to get rid of me, I hit them with Innocence, hopefully for a one hit kill.
