which one was Liseria again? haven't played in a while, is she that princess in the beginning?

Lyseria is one the mages you get near the end, only possible to obtain in hard mode during chapter 7, she's a bit of a special character because Odin will talk to you at the start of the chapter telling you there is something in the Archdain Ruins. You will not get a spiritual concentration there if you try, you must go into the ruins yourself to trigger the scene to get Lyseria. She is built with the highest base magic stat of any mage in the game and can use great magic by default. Also, since she's female, she can equip the best mage gear in the game which is female only.

I've only experienced VP on PSX and played through all modes.

I must say it's unique battle system and norse based plot is really refreshing from other games.

In other words: IT'S AWESOME. I totally reccommend it

VP has.... a nasty learning curve... It requires you to think about everything o.e (my brain can handle doing that.... BUT, the levels got agitating)

As a borderline-OCD super completionist gamer, I found Valkyrie Profile to be incredibly frustrating. The game is incredibly counter-intuitive, and if played without constantly referencing a strategy guide, you *will* miss a ton of stuff.
