The tragedy behind Crisis Core was very moving. It's interesting because if a fan of the series picks the game up, they feel a certain futility in everything they see Zack do, since we already know his fate.
However, that makes everything he does all the more bittersweet as well. And I have to admit, I teared up a little watching the ending, 1) because I grew to love Zack through my time playing him, and 2) because they made the ending scene so damn good!
Listening to "The Price of Freedom" that plays while Zack is staving off countless Shin-Ra soldiers, accompanied by him remembering all of his friends (as shown by the DMW). And by the end, all that's left is Aerith. *sniffle*

The funny thing about that is; she didn't really fall in love with Cloud, she fell in love with Cloud's emulation of Zack, who she did love. As tragic as it is, at least her and Zack are together in the Lifestream. And at least Cloud has Tifa, who he's known for pretty much forever. with Cloud and Tifa, I think they both know how the other feels, they just don't show it well.

I had stayed up late,
to finish up,
the game,
after defeating Genesis,
I crashed,
woke up and it,
asked me to save my game,
so i realized I missed the ending,
that got me crying.
Those words will start a war
