hi everyone
i thought it could be intersting to know how really strong Squall's attacks are, so i checked them using the replay editor to count how many frames they last long too.
I used a 109 strenght against a 94 defence due to the easy damage results.
Note: red damage values are doubled in EX mode.
damage values in brackets may eventualy miss.

Nice info. Although we have a rough idea of which attacks are squall's strongest, this is also good to know.
Crits are 5x the damage, right? If so, solid barrel does massive damage O.o
Excellent work, Corde. Frame data, probably one of the few things that we as a community have so far neglected. This will sure come in handy. Looking at the frames, I can appreciate how fast the execution of Revolver Drive is when compared to his other HP attacks.
This makes me wonder how his recovery frames look like for each attack, which of course leads me to wonder about the frame data of dodges and blocks--the whole shebang.
Excellent work, once again. Lets hope this will get the snowball rolling. =3

Is 107 STR V 94 DEF the basic values of a match without any stat gains? (IE, 6999)
I suppose this information could also help build a 6999 tier list or something.
Speed indicates the number of frames, right? So a speed of 22 has 22 frames before the hits begin?

Odd baseline. I would have preferred to see the results from 6999 rules.
you're right, i mistook wrighting, sorry. I had in mind OK stats for some reason XD.
Actually those results come from 109 strenght vs 94 defence.

To compare them to someone else's moves, think that Tidus Hop Step (110 vs 95) deals 300, and Sonic Buster 500 landing close to the enemy!
Cloud Slash Blow 400, but his strongest move, weird to find, is Firaga with 510 damage if it hits the enemy right between the eyes!

I would have preferred to see 6669 results also. =P Espcially since it would have provided results closer to the natural pattern of things here than otherwise.
But Frame data = excellant.
Yeah 6669 results might've made it easier but this is awesome stuff. Spyder is definitely right in saying that this is the part that we've neglected so it really helps to see something like this.. especially with frame rate data.
Damn, Solid Barrel really would do some srs damage in critical. That makes me want to rethink everything that I've been doing.. (really needs to work on my ground Squall.. ==) this information at least gives me motivation to do so.
This day will never come again, so let me have this moment.
