Final CP spending

I recently tried using Fire and Graviga, what I considered to be bad moves before, so I unequipped them. Now I believe that Fire is worth the points for chasing to gather Ex Force.

I am curious to see what other players have equipped. Do you think Fire, Graviga, and Flood are worth the CP or is Blizzara/Meteor just plain better? How often do you use these 3 moves in a match?

I am thinking of dropping Graviga (again) and Flood for Sneak Attack/Snooze + Lose or more Adept abilities.

Fire and Flood aren't that bad, but you should combine them with other attacks. Drop Graviga - it's quite powerful, but the long cast makes everybody lol@u.

Yeah only in very situational circumstances would it be useful, none that I can think of right now though lol, Does fire go under Jecht's Ultimate Jecht Shot HP attack? anyone know? It would look quite funny if it did, and I can't be bothered getting on and testing myself haha

IMO I don't find much use for flood in adhoc battles and CPU battles. People and AIs always dodge out of them so I myself dropped flood. If anyone has great uses for this, then please teach me. but overall in my experience, I don't use it.

I've never used Fire, and I don't see how particularly useful it is. It's entirely ground based, and sooo easy to dodge. If you want a chase, use Holy.

^quite right. Terra is more on air game so I think putting on fire is a waste of CP IMO.

I think he attacks too fast for a fire to get through, but about half of my chaos characters are still level 1, including him. I don't know.

Thanks for the input, I dropped Graviga for now, and will test more online with Fire and Flood.

Fire is cast. It's running towards Jecht. Jecht uses Ultimate Jecht shot, and jumps right over the fire.

Very simple, very practical. If anything else actually does happen, it'd make little sense.

The only thing to know is that Fire crits like freaking crazy. Depending on your setup, you can easily get a 1.5k BRV critical from a block/Fire. The only catch is, as Scott said, you have to be on the ground, and Terra seems to shine a lot in air.

For Flood, you can combine it with Meteor in cramped spaces for a good HP link, but otherwise, you'll have trouble landing it. Also worthy of note: if you begin casting the spell right as Sephiroth starts casting Shadow Flare, you'll duck right under the flares.
