Kuja vs Shantotto

Good day of..day)
Recently, me and my friend played dissidia, and he decided to play as Shantotto, he read this forum and trained...

His build is smt like 3500+ initial bravery, and for EX mode...

I'm playnig Kuja, and the main problem is Bind, he uses it all the time, poison+ bind+staff etc, then he collects Exmode (with me it takes 1min - +) and bind+water/ra/ga...
Usually, he hits me bind 1 time, after full ex and it starting to kill me(

Chance of wining 50\50... but i want to rise it...

Any suggestions about fighting vs Shantotto?
Build summons and acc?
He's the only trouble for me(

Use Strike Energy, Remote Flare, and Snatch Blow. Use an EX Build yourself to counter his, EX Auto Magic might counter Bind, I haven't fight many Shantotto's myself but in theory it might work. Use Deathgaze or Lich or any other summons that kill BRV, as long as it is not Odin. If you are using an EX Build you can use Iron Giant because of how much easier it is to land HP attacks.

Use Strike Energy and Auto Magic to destroy his Bio spells and just time your dodges for the staff attack. Use Remote Flare and Snatch Blow to keep the pressure on when ever he tries to use Bind. And if you do get hit by Bind, you can still fend him off with Snatch Blow and Remote Flare if he is close enough. If you see him casting Bio and he is infront of you, use Snatch Blow, it will destroy the Bio and grab him.

Remember, Snatch Blow is the one that he fires the big holy boomerrang. You can also try Snatch Shots instead of Remote Flare is Remote Flare isn't working for you.

3500+ Initial BRV and an Ex-Build sounds sort of off. When I read that, I assumed he was using hacked accessories.

Anyway, Seraphic Star would be mostly useless do to the fact you can't move, and you could be bound or stunned during it. Ultima will help, but provided you move around while it's being cast.

If you get caught in a Bind, Remote Flare should be greatly useful to use with some good timing. Especially if the Shantotto is near you.

hah x)))) im using no-hacked accessories, and i've 3500+ BRV, but i can make 6k brv DD its funny and extremely dangerous x)))

i think that bio + stun are nice combo, or fire, but no 100% chance on hit

Remote Flare activates in a Sphere around Kuja, it doesn't hit only on the same plane as him.

Agreed with the posts above remote flare is a must against a Shantoto, best bet is snatch flare or RF after your opponent misses an hp attack. Also use you glide ability randomly as you can, I notice most Shantoto players depends on getting you into a corner and such a thing should be blasphemous when playing as Kuja. (but then again I'm not a main kuja player so...)

try useing some ex drain accessories and accessories that get you more ex faster

I'm a bit curious, what level were you and him? That would be a big factor if you weren't balanced out. As for handling his Bravery, Odin seems like the best option, but Carbuncle and Omega can work as well. So can Iron Giant if you like Ultima spamming, don't worry about Stun if you miss, it actually might help you in that case, I think. For attacks, Snatch Blow, Remote Flare, and Holy Ring are my favorites. Remote Flare should get you out of Bind once you connect with it, or keep him busy dodging in the meantime, and Holy Ring can reflect Bio if used just before it would hit you. You might want to practice chasing if you are hit by retribution a lot, so you can make up the difference in brave that way if the summon doesn't help.

Use the advice of everyone else first, especially for equipment/accessories. I'm only basing my judgment on fighting a CPU Shantotto as Kuja and playing as her.
