Some of you may be wondering, why Grand Lethal of all things and I would be happy to answer. First of all, I get that to avoid Grand Lethal one must be in a fair distance from the opponent, but it's not as simple. There are some really good Zidane mainers online and they know when to hit it. I tried my best to avoid it by dodging on the ground in all ways, by jumping over him, by dashing away, but either the way of the dodge is too slow or he follows me in striking precision if too close. I could really use some advice on how to get away from it in a bind.
actually dashing away should do the trick for you, just do it as soon as he says "you're not getting away!", and If you are zidane, I think "Free Energy" should stop it.
The only way I've seen it " hard to dodge is if you get rushed to the ground, and if that's the case just ExGuard.

Spoiler:
its kinda hard if the person knows when to use it, wat i might do is either exguard, or multi slide(the one where you have to jump to highest point, then you dash)
I suggest blocking it with another HP attack. As long as you're able to pull it off before he's started lunging at you it should be possible. Gotta' be melee though.
RDC as soon as Zidane reaches you during the "tracking" of the attack (make sure you have Evasion Time Boost equipped). This will "sink" your character below Zidane, as well as having enough invincibility frames of your dodge. Most of the time, Grand Lethal's hit frames will end before your dodge frames end.

It doesn't have much of a range, so unless they are particularly close to you, either interupt them with a quick bravery attack, or just dash and dodge.
TDC works very well against it... putting you behind Zidane and punish with Sneak.
I'm a TDC lover you know...
If you're in the ground, do a quick hop > TDC.

Once a Squall mainer; Always a Squall mainer.
We do not start any fight; We end them.
the best IMo is dodging backwards. it doesn't have that much horizontal tracking but homing has tremendous tracking sideways....

It has vertical and horizontal tracking, to be exact, so you can't do a forward dodge, or a side dodge
^that's why you need to dodge backwards because it's forward tracking is not very good. A forward dodge and side dodge will get you because of its tremendou side tracking.
