Tried it out on AI, though i was only able to do it 3 times coz i wasn't able to do it again (Strict timing and all).. PA/GB got reflected back at me and got punished.. Though IT MIGHT work against humans coz they wouldn't expect you to suddenly change and fire off a GravBall

Has anyone been able to do it with HP attacks? Being able to attack with Dark Flame out, or launching a Paladin Arts as soon as firing Paladin Force would be super sexy.

Rei said he's seen a CPU do it with Dark Flame

It could certainly psych out or distract a human player, computers are harder to fool with something like that, I'm gonna try this later, I can probably find a use for it.

    Made by me.

    Mains: Lightning, Feral Chaos, Yuna
    Best: Feral Chaos, Lightning, Yuna

I've seen the CPU do this as well, but they were in EX mode. Are you sure this was not the case? The cpu has a habit of changing before and after DF when its in EX mode, so....

I've practiced this trick a bunch with lightning rise and can get it to work about 60% of the time with 1 button press. The trick for me is to look at Cecil's feet as he comes out of the spin. He makes the last attack, and then his feet wind around one more time. Time your button press so that when his feet complete the 360 and return to where they were, you hit soul eater's input. It's also worked for me using dark flame's input but it seems to need stricter timing.

I don't really understand the variants that Rei-N was mentioning at all. I experimented a little and didn't have any success. What input are you using to go from gravity ball to job change? Paladin force? Saint's dive? Does it matter? Give us details please.

I did it with sacred cross!(Not sure about the name, it's the one that adjust the height)

I was spamming square, but when I turned DK I used paladin force :X

I think Rei-N was talking about (Ultimecia's castle/ World of darkness) DF on the Plank/Pillar and then fall-off and cast Paladin arts....

With this timing you can do it with one button press and it works more often than mashing [].
