Starfall deflecting magic attacks in Duodecim is going to make me laugh my ass off. Imagine you start doing that shit right when Terra fires off ice or something.
Too bad he can't get something like bombard in the air.

That's how I have been looking at it, use it when you need to bait them or when you need a quick magic shield, plus if you put up some aerial M Prisons and hid amongst them using Starfall this would make them come to you and try some close quarter combat which would fail because M Prisons are perfect Combo breakers... (I've said that about M Prisons too much xD)
Of course some projectiles are getting guard stagger and break etc.
Bombard in the air would be weird, possibly improve his air game? I don't know, but I personally won't use it in Duodecim with the Ground Light Crest... Or maybe I will replace land mines with Bombard now.
No matter what though, Kraid is pretty much right on the whole Exdeath thing, Dynamite is probably the best thing to use against him along with whatever else you feel like pressuring with.

You should be using Bombard no matter what. The only time Bombard has been worthless is in JPN Dissidia.

Advent Hero
Bombard possesses a High Priority, it can clash with many HP attacks, this move is a staple, because it's a good defensive option and it can rereflect your Flares, so it's a lot better than Land Mines.
-
Not just that it clash with HP attacks, it puts you into Chase. Emperor + Blue Flare + Chase = Guaranteed HP hit.

Yes you are right, what was I thinking, doubting Bombard's power >.>
Anyways, another pro to it is that it makes as a great pressure tool along with a Red Flare, Blue Flare and a Thunder Crest out.
I still remember that one video of yours Kraid, the one where you used Bombard against Cloud... Can't remember what it was called, but Bombard > Thunder Crest > Dash > Aerial Mines
I think I always equipped it from there on.

Emperor possesses a lot of defensive options, Flares, Bombard and now Starfall. And the Emperor shouldn't go in the air at all (except in one or 2 exceptions).

Well the Emperor should not, never go in the air, against some characters he is actually decent against them in the air, but for the most part he shouldn't have to since the ground is his territory.
Plus in Duodecim everyone will need to come to the ground to refresh their jumps, or dodge constantly in the air for aerial distance.
So basically, Duodecim itself is strengthening the Emperor's game, as well as adding a great HP attack to his game and buffing the priority on certain attacks and giving special properties such as magic block etc.
But anyways, Duodecim discussion is kind of off topic in the Emperor Dissidia discussion, isn't it? Or is it not?

Shuld not never go in the air means he should be in the air. =P
Golbez is one of the few times Emperor should go into the air.
Also because you asked for it:
This is the video where I showed the usefulness of Bombard.
I'll allow Duodecim stuff about Emperor in these topics since the Duodecim forums for Emperor aren't yet open. =P
